Moist, fruity & boozy Christmas cake

Special delivery: You are pre-ordering Christmas cakes, which will be delivered between Monday 18th and Saturday 23rd December. We will contact you to arrange delivery on one of those days. If you’d like to pick up yours earlier, just drop us a note!

Moist, fruity, boozy, our Christmas cake is the traditional way to celebrate with friends, family and neighbours. We’ve made a light version (rather than the very heavy, dark fruit cake of old) but it’s still packed with fruit and glace cherries, steeped in brandy, aged and then wrapped in a layer of marzipan and finished with royal icing. We like to think our mums would be proud.

Decorated, boxed and tied with a bonny ribbon.


  • Wheat flour, fair trade sugar, dried mixed fruit (raisins, currants, sultanas, dried lemon peel), glace cherries, black treacle, sunflower margarine (made with soya and sustainable palm oil), chia seeds, marzipan (almonds, glycerine, sugar) bi-carbonate of soda, brandy.
  • Gluten-free version: As above but instead of wheat flour, we use rice flour, tapioca flour and ground almonds. (please note that we use wheat flour in the kitchen where the gluten-free versions are made so can’t guarantee there are no wheat particles in the cakes).
  • Not keen on marzipan? Just let us know what to leave off in the ‘More order information’ box.
